I've got loads of homework to do... have to turn in a paper tomorrow. I spent all weekend worrying about it, but couldn't bring myself to do it because who does homework on a weekend?

I saw metal figurines, tall black ones pounding grain once. looked so good. I do remember summers in our ancestral village where women used to pound grain just like that.

Feeling artsy today. Am going to come back from college and sit down with my sketch block and my pencils for an hour of sketching. My walls are still quite bare.

Feels like madras - not as hot, but quite as bright.

It is friday! Just hang in there!

It is friday at last. If I make it today, 2 days of bliss.
For now, I need to scrape together a paper that is due today.

Hobbit time.

Gonna do lots of reading today. it is cold outside, and dark, to make matters worse. Agenda for the day - warm cup of chocolate, a fat copy of Lord of the Rings, couple of blankets.
